This all in one arrangement sounds good to me. I'm for keeping it as simple as possible.

Good deal, I have brushed up on using Garageband for our purposes, we will need some headphones too for you to monitor yourself. I also studied outputting the sound in the right format in a stereo form.
We can use an inexpensive mic and separate headphones to monitor, however i know of a nice wireless logitech set that is inexpensive at walmart or bestbuy and some similar wired all in one headsets that are all $50 or less.
We can try what you have first, but those are another nice option you would have more freedom of movement while you work. I do remote voicework for a living when i fix peoples computers and the quality and reliability are very good.
Anyways i'm good to go.
Thanks,
Scott
I say we go through the motions a few times eliminating wasteful steps then document the results for you to use as a guide and then we can even work remotely some if you want while you actually record. Finally I will help you edit and organize the files for publishing.

Scott,
There's a headphone jack and two others that I don't know what they are, so maybe so. On the older computer I know it was possible to plug in my microphone.

Hi Scott,
We spoke in Aug. when you were helping Lynn Clark at his house and I happened to call. We discussed your setting me up at my house to do some recordings and I'm ready to start. Please call me to set a time to meet.
